Subscribing to blogs

Hi CIC peeps

Is there a way to subscribe to people’s blogs. Looking through the Community Activity feed, lots is going on, so it’s getting tricky to pluck out the blog posts from the noise.

I’d love to be able to subscribe to some of my fav blogs so I can be updated when a new blog is posted. This will assist me in engaging back with comments.

Does anyone know how to subscribe. It didn’t look obvious from the blogs I’ve looked at.

Hi Dan, you should be able to filter all non-blog posts out from the noise. See image:

You should also be able to subscribe to anyone’s blog via an RSS reader (Feedly is the best option I found).

It is also possible to subscribe to blogs that have the ‘subscribe to me’ widget on display.

Thanks for this Ollie. I’m going to turn the ‘Subscribe to me’ widget on. That sounds great. I’ll give the RSS a go and make my first CIC action to scroll through the ‘Post’ filtered feed.

Hi,

The CIC Around site is acting funny sometimes. The activity and tags is showing blank for me most of the time. I need to either refresh or log out and log in back to see the blog posts and tag cloud. Not sure if anyone else is facing similar issue or is it it just me? Since I am new to MDSI ,I am still getting around understanding everything and any help will be appreciated.
